Fully comply with the publication of corrections and retract publications that are deemed unethical, deceptive, or harmful.
Our publication policy is dedicated to upholding the integrity and precision of the scientific record. When problems occur that require corrections, retractions, or editorial statements of concern, we adhere to a strict and transparent procedure to handle them properly.
Corrections:
When mistakes are found in published papers that do not undermine the overall conclusions, a correction is released. Corrections are commonly done to rectify typographical errors, rectify data miscalculations, or rectify minor factual inaccuracies. These errors can be reported by authors, readers, or editors. After being verified, the correction is instantly published, connected to the original article, and indexed. Subsequently, the revised article is updated with a notation denoting the correction.
Retractions:
Retractions are formal statements made when there are substantial problems that render the findings or conclusions of a study incorrect. This encompasses instances of scientific misconduct, such as the fabrication of data, plagiarism, substantial errors, or breaches of ethical standards. Retractions can be initiated by authors, institutions, or editors. An extensive inquiry is carried out to validate the assertion. When a retraction is necessary, a notice is released to inform readers about the retraction and provide details about the reason for retraction and the party responsible for initiating it. The original article has been retracted, but it has not been removed in order to maintain the integrity of the scientific record.
Editorial Expressions of Concern:
An editorial expression of concern is provided in cases where there is an ongoing inquiry that could potentially impact the credibility of a published story, but the final results are not yet certain. This warning serves to inform the readership of possible issues and is employed to uphold transparency during the inquiry. After the inquiry is completed, the notification is revised to include the result, which may involve making a correction, retracting the information, or resolving the concern without taking any additional steps.
Procedure
Reporting: Any individual can report issues by sending an email or using a designated web form.
Initial Evaluation: The editorial team carries out an initial assessment to ascertain the necessity of additional inquiry.
Investigation: A comprehensive inquiry is conducted, frequently involving the writers and their affiliated institutions.
Verdict: The editorial board determines the suitable course of action based on the investigation's results.
The act of correcting, retracting, or expressing concern about an article is made public and connected to the initial publication.
Transparency and communication are given high priority throughout the entire process, ensuring that all stakeholders involved are well-informed and engaged. We guarantee that the ultimate notifications are unambiguous, enlightening, and easily comprehensible to the target audience. We strive to maintain the utmost levels of scientific integrity and reliability in all of our published content.
